A simple and breathtakingly poignant study of a brother and a sister unravelling the truth behind their father's death and their childhood friend's connection. In the second half of the play, the trio of young characters become their predecessors thirty years earlier to play out the life-changing events during three days of rain.
A graduate of Princeton University (1980) and the Yale School of Drama (1985), 2003 Tony Award Winner Richard Greenberg is one of the most prolific and most-produced American dramatists to emerge in the past decade. His critically acclaimed plays include Eastern Standard (1988), The American Plan (1990), the Pulitzer Prize-nominated Three Days of Rain (1997), Hurrah at Last (1998), Everett Beekin (2000), The Dazzle (2000), Take Me Out (2002), and The Violet Hour (2002).
